Inspect
Thickness
Thickness gauges, specified from the wall you need to measure.
A thickness gauge answers remaining wall or a precision dimension. It is not a flaw detector, and it is not a coating gauge unless the coating itself is the measurement.
What to include
Material, range, and what is on the surface.
Tell us the material, the thickness you expect, the temperature, and whether the surface is bare, painted or scaled. Corrosion surveys, precision checks and high-temperature spots are different probe choices. A single-echo reading through paint is not the same instrument setup as a multiple-echo reading that is meant to ignore the coating.
If the question is the coating thickness rather than the metal underneath, use coating thickness. If you need to find a defect rather than a number for the wall, use ultrasonic testing equipment.
Say if you are replacing a gauge you already trust, including the probe. We confirm availability individually. We do not publish a stock list.
